医学博士、神経内科医。ピアニストとしても活動し、楽曲制作を続けているアーティスト。エレクトロニクスとアコースティック、アナログとデジタル、睡眠と覚醒の境界線上での活動を継続している。2003年、コーネリアスのリミックスコンテストに入賞、アルバム 『PM』に楽曲収録。それをきっかけにSL@YRE & THE FEMININE STOOLというユニットを結成。
2004年、SL@YRE & THE FEMININE STOOL名義での制作第1号の作品「Polka Dots & Sl@yremoonbeams」が、坂本龍一によるコンピレーション『DOCUMENT-RADIO SAKAMOTO』に収録される。その後、坂本龍一がホストを務めるJ-WAVE「RADIO SAKAMOTO」に生出演、ライブを披露し、その後も度々番組に登場する。
2005年、Sublime RecordsよりSL@YRE & THE FEMININE STOOL名義で1stアルバム“Phut Cr@ckle Tokyo [K]”をリリース。
7月、rei harakami のソロライブ＠LIQUIDROOM EBISUにてオープニング・アクトとしてライブ。
また12月には、お台場の日本科学未来館で開催したイベント「『音楽と宇宙に浸るプレミア・ナイト』 MEGASTAR-II cosmos presents <4%>」にも出演。
その他にも、Inter FMで1年半の間放送していた番組「Groovin' High RADIO」（Supported by Garcia Marquez）にて、番組のコーナーにおいてのナビゲーターを担当するなど、多彩に活動してきた。
現在、初のソロアルバムのリリースに続き、他アーティストとのコラボレーションなども進行しており、今後の活動に大いなる注目が集まる。

In 2003: His remix was chosen on the remix contest by Cornelius (as Keigo Oyamada). Compiling to Remix Album "PM". Formed "SL@yRe & The Feminine Stool" with kawatory.
In 2004: Ryuichi Sakamoto was compiled the very initial track of SL@yRe & The Feminine Stool to the compilation album "DOCUMENT-RADIO SAKAMOTO" and SL@yRe was invited to perform live show at RADIO SAKAMOTO several times.
In 2005: The first album titled "Phut Cr@ckle Tokyo [K]" was released on the label Sublime Records under the name of SL@yRe & The Feminine Stool.
Performing live at Japan's technology museum "Miraikan".
His new album will be released soon.
