楽曲のエディットやプログラミングをはじめ、作詞作曲、ヴォーカル、キーボードなどすべてを一人でトータルにこなす才能、Cha pari(チャパリ)。3才の頃からクラシック・ピアノを学び音楽理論を身につけ、Cha pariとしてのキャリアをスタートし2001年に上京、“コーラスワークを最大に生かしたテクノポップサウンド”に取り入れる独自の音を探求、確立しつつLIVE活動も展開。
その後サブライムから着目され、2002年にレーベル初の女性アーティストとして、7インチ「OTO」でデビュー。同年11月にはファーストアルバム「UTA」をリリース。
また、フランスのCaffe latte Recordingsからリリースされた日本人のみのコンピ"eyes on tokyo"にも楽曲提供。坂本龍一、久石譲などベテランの中に混じり新人としては異例の収録を果たす。
サブライムとケンイシイが共同企画する恒例イベント「REEL UP」にてのライブも行い、そのグランドピアノやエフェクターを駆使した独特のライブは好評を博している。
Equipped with a keyboard or acoustic piano and an array of samplers, sequencers and vintage mixers, Cha pari makes catchy electronic music with her voice instantly miexed at that time, equally suited for the dancefloor or chanson bar.Cha pari is her solo project, started in 1998 and gained experiences already known as a prolific producer, she has already done many of works for TV CM, sound tracks for musical, etc.
In 2002, her first album was released from on Sublime Records. All tracks are produced, written, programmed, arrenged, and vocal to final mix by her. The sound that she creates is truely pop and sensational. Girly pop vocals ensnares listeners with cheerful bass will be enchanting. Her treat of live acting is a bit tast of Lowley Anderson such as avant-garde style. Audiences are always overpowered.
Already performed with Burnt Friedman form Germany and she got big applauses from them!
Even though she is a new, her debut track was licensed to the French compilation album for tributary Japanese music culture along with leading top artists Ryuichi Sakamoto, Joe Hisaishi. She is a really lovable talented girl !
