2000年、彼はデビュー作となる「dj klock ep」のリリースとともに自身のレーベルであるclockwise recordingsを立ち上げる。以後、さまざまなレーベルへの作品提供をする一方で、ここから、ミックステープ 『klock's mix cafe』と12インチ「one of the sixteen pads is dead ep」をリリース。その後、NIKEのキャンペーン用に作られた12インチ/CD「DJ Krush feat. dj klock / 2001 cage odyssey」のなかでDJ Krushとのコラボレーションを実現させた。
2002年には、sublime recordsよりファースト・アルバム『human essence』を発表。"行間を読む、時間を刻む、空間を刈り込む。プレイ＆ストップ、プル＆プッシュ、呼吸するように。＜世界＞を受容し拒絶する真摯な探求者DJクロックによるストリクトリー・プラシーボ・エフェクツ！""このアルバムは日本におけるエレクトロニカとヒップホップの収斂の新たな象徴という決まり文句では片付けられない複雑さと潔さを持っている。"（アルバムに寄せられたコメントより抜粋）
そのほか、tenniscoatsとして活動するsaya、uenoとのプロジェクトcacoyとしても活動。
2003年4月にはファースト・アルバム「human is music」、5月には12インチ「mural of music ep」をclockwise recordingsからリリース。
そして2003年12月にはサブライムより、正規流通としては自身初となるミックスCD「timing incorrect」をリリース。
あらゆる音楽をどん欲に吸収し形成されたチャレンジングなスタンスは、彼の作品だけでなく、そのDJスタイルのなかにも聴くことができる。2002末にはヨーロッパでのツアーを実現させ高い評価を得ている。
Kown as a hybrid turntablist / producer often said to be the brightest hope for the Japanese music scene such as none other than the legendary DJ Krush. It was quite a storm since he first appeared in the Japanese underground music scene.
You don't often see djs who can create deep deep Japonism sound scapes with highly advanced mixing and scratching and added awesome effects skills like he has. His sensitivity and careful "everyday" experimentation on the decks has brought him a supreme reputation as the "most innovative dj in Japan".
Not to mention that dj klock has been djing with highly respected djs (such as jeff mills, dj krush, fumiya tanaka, calm, akfen, funkstrong, sutekh and so on.) in large numbers of underground parties and big festivals as his DJ is essentials of RAVE scene now.
Besides, he continues to drop stunning materials on his own label "clock-wise recordings" to include a band"cacoy", "moyunijumo" (collabo project with an MC), as well as his many solo releases.
Especially, thomas knak (producer of bjork's latest releases also known as opiate) had a great response to"cacoy" project!!
DJ KLOCK has collaborated with DJ KRUSH for NIKE shoe project.
In 2002, his first solo album was released from Sublime Records. The album is obviously his achievement has been explored for new directions.
He toured to Europe in 2002 with his fellow DJ afro (Blue Foundation) for "DONUT CUTZ" supported in London, Denmark.
dj klock truly has the potential to take Japanese turntablism to the next level.
